SAP Enable Now - How to change the position of screen and description

Dear community.

I am currently trying to change the position of screen and description in generated documentations.

By default, the description is located under the screen, but I want to change it to be located above the screen.

In SAP Enable now, If I set the mouse action to be located above the screen, I can change the description's position, but the highlight does not appear on the screen in generated documentations.

If you have any solution for this problem or any other ways, please let me know.

Please see some screenshots below for better understanding :

An alternative, although again it is a lot of work (every Step, every Document...) would be to move the macro above the screenshot (as you suggest) and then add Documentation Macro > Document Highlight macros below the screenshot. (You could copy/paste the position from the action Macros.) But again, it's a lot of hard work so I would be inclined to not bother and just tell whoever asked for this "No, not possible"!

Hi Yuki,

interesting question. I have a solution but it requires a bit of manual work for each step, because the document settings don't allow for the order of the screenshot and macro to be changed as a general setting.

What you can do is the following:

  1. Copy the click macro to above the screenshot. Then you have the text above the screenshot in the documentation.
  2. Deactivate the Demo Text for the macro underneath the screenshot (little green icon next to the text). The highlight will stay there but no text will be in the document.
  3. You have to do this for every macro, so it's a lot of manual work. Sorry, no setting for that that I know of.

This is only for the documentation. If you have demo and/or practice mode, please see Dirks answer below.

Please let me know if you need more information or mark the question as answered.

Take care,

Kristina

That would work for the Document, but what about in Demo or Practice mode? Would the user have to carry out the Action twice, because the Macro is in there twice?

Hi Dirk,

absolutely right. Your answer below is better I think.

Take care,
