Hi everyone,
My attempts to create a compound document using my workarea glossary have been fruitless.
I duplicated the standard compound document documentation settings and have tried various different combinations of fragment set-ups, but alas the best I can do is generate a compound document of the folder groups (A, B, C etc) but with none of the glossary units within.
Could anyone advise if this is even possible?
Many thanks as ever,
Andrew
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Andrew,
It seems to be an issue when the text unit Document Type value is set to Glossary. I could also not get glossary entries to generate when this was the case. So, I:
1. Duplicated by glossary to create a second version - not references because you don't want to modify your real glossary
2. Generated the Workspace structure - Tools > Workspace Structure > Export Structure - for the new glossary entries
3. Modified the glossary entries in the generated spreadsheet to make all the glossary entries general text units, rather than glossary entries
4. Imported the modified glossary entries - Tools > Workspace Structure - Import Structure
5. Generated the compound document for the updated glossary structure. This successfully generated the glossary entries into a Compound Document.
Regards
Shane
