SAP Enable Now Cloud Storage

Hello,

The InfoCentre states the following on Cloud storage:

The HANA database server has 64GB RAM, the application server provides 50 GB of storage for created content, which is automatically extended to up to 100 GB.

SAP is working on a commercial option to buy more storage.

Assuming the max default is 100GB,

  1. I assume this is per instance of SEN (i.e. We have 4 Work Areas it would be 100GB across all 4)
  2. As it states ‘created’ I assume if we extend to standard content this is not included in the 100GB
  1. On that note: if we edit standard content would this go into he 100GB storage bucket?

Many thanks

David

1. Correct, per instance, not per Workarea.

2. Good question; I'd assume only content in 'your database(s)' - connected content wouldn't count unless you Fetch it or edit it.

3. Yes, see (2).

But it would be nice to be able to query "storage used to date" - for benchmarking against other clients if nothing else. Maybe it's there somewhere?

Also bear in mind this is 'total database content' and previous versions will also count toward this - so if you are conceened you may want to do some judicious hosekeeping every so often (like deleting versions >3 years old...).
