SAP E-Recruiting: Applications in Assignments

Hi,

The Recruiter publishes a Job and the interested candidates apply for the same Job. In this case we are able to see all the candidates in First process/phase of the Process template like Application Entry/Inbox in Assignments of the Requisition.

For this do we need to configure anywhere. If so please let me know.

Thanks and Regards,

Harish

Hello Harish,

Do you use EhP5 (BF4 active)? Because there you can set with workflow 'Automatically direct Candidacy to a Process' in which process a newly created candidacy should go. You can distinguish here following scenarios in V77RCF_CS2PROC:

  • Candidate Application
  • Candidate Forwarding
  • Resume Parsing
  • Internal Manual Application
  • External Manual Application

Best regards

Hi Nicole,

We are using Ehp4 SP03.

One more question. For implementing the Resume Parsing, Do we need to pay licence/additional cost for Parsing Vendor "or" it is free of cost.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Nicole,

Still the issue is not solved.

We are using Ehp4 SP03.

We created Internal application after maintaining the "Internal Manual Application" for Inbox in table "V77RCF_CS2PROC:".

But the application is not visible in the Inbox section in Assignments.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Nicole,

But the applicant is available in "All" section.

Is it the standard process. First Candidate will be available in section "All", then Recruiter has to move the candidate  from All section to "Inbox" or "Prescreenig" in Assignments.

Thanks and Regards,

Harish

Hello Harish,

Resume Parsing is done by 3rd party providers and hence, you would have to pay for that additionally.

If you don't have EhP5 the candidate will always be shown automatically in the first process because the activities automatically created by the workflow are assigned to process 1 in VV77RCF_ACT2PROC.

You will see the candidates always in 'all' but only in the process tabs once they have activities created with are assigned to a particular process.

Regards

Nicole
