Hi all,
Would like to connect with anyone who has implemented leave for US states - Colorado/California.
We are trying to implement a leave policy as below and need help if you have something similar to cater to the local leave requirements?
1- The max balance any employee can have at a time has to be set to 30 days.
If the employee is a new employee as on 01 Jan, they will continue to accrue 1.67 days per month as per the rule. However, if the employee is tenured, they will have an annual balance carry forward and the max carry forward balance is 30.
2- For such a tenured employee the additional accrual every month in the new calendar should happen at the backend and not visible to the employee. In case they utilize any of their current balance, let say 5 days and balance drops to 25, the accrued leave from backend should add up to this balance up to 30 and the remaining stays in the backend (if there are more days)
3- We are ok if this sort of set up can be done using different balance fields or utilizing additional leave type which is not visible to employee but balance auto-transferred to main balance as listed in point no 2.
We can chat in case you need more information. I would really appreciate if you have contribution on this query.
Regards,
Jeet Saini
