Request clarification before answering.
One of my customers had the same error. It occurred for a few users. The recommendation I received from SAP Enable Now development support was to clean up the navigator cache folder. You can find it by pasting this path into the Windows File Explorer: %localAppData%\navigatorCache and hitting Enter

So it looks like your SAP Companion for Desktop object doesn't contain anything. Make sure you have included content objects in it, have generated it (by clicking on the green lightning bolt) and then published it.

Please find the error content below. I am trying to explore this Enable now Application.
Where i ran a small walk through using guided tool option. Walk through was created for SAP EWM screens.
I have it inside producer only .Later saved the entry and then pulished it in produer. Then tried to launch the option SAP Companion in Mnager screen.

Have you generated the SAP Companion for Desktop index, and is the content in it published? (TBH I have never launched it from Manager - what happens if you launch it from Producer? The same thing? What does the Console say?
