SAP Companion Announcements & Context Data

Hello everyone,

I have two questions regarding the authoring in the SAP Companion.

1. In the SAP Companion for desktop we had the opportunity to change the recorded context afterwards. Is it possible to change it for Guided tours oder help tiles in the "new" Companion?

2. I wanted to create an announcement in the "Whats New" section, but I was not able to find the option or I was looking at the wrong point. 

I created a Help tile and filled in a link to a guided tour, which should be started directly. I thought that there should be the announcement field below?

Hi Marie,

Yes it is possible to modify the context on individual Guided Tour Steps is the corresponding screen changes.  To do this:

1. Open SAP Companion in editing mode for your Guided Tours and then open the Guided Tour that requires modification
2. Click on the Guided Tour Step to be modified and select Edit
3. Click on the Element tab
4. Click the button that contains a circle with an arrow head at the end of the Recorded Screen ID field
5. Save the changes and publish if it is not ready for end users

To create What's New content:
1. Open SAP Companion and navigate to the What's New tab
2. Click the + and select the type of content to be created.  Because you start the creation in the What's New tab, you are creating What's New content

If there is no What's New tab for your current screen:
1. Open SAP Companion in editing mode
2. Click the + and select Add What's New
3. Click the + again and start and create your content

Hi Shane,

I already created the Whats New Tile. Right know my problem is the announcement function. I wanted to display the help tile as soon as the user opens the application. I thought the announcement function is right there, when you add a link, but nothing happend, as you can see in the screenshot.
