Rules Using Create Expression restrictions - Comp Info only or Recurring Payments is affected too?

Hi Team

Successfactors Employee central core guide reads as follows:

Therefore, i would like to clarify if this text refers to the Compensation Information PARENT object as a target and does not refer to recurring payments, both are in the same portlet and it can be confusing.

I am saying this because i am using a Create rule set in manage business conf- Compensation info as a base object, and the rule targets the recurring pay components, and i can say it is working better than the ones that i did using SET.

Could anyone clarify if it is only referring to Compensation Information Object and not recurring payments even though they are closely related in the same portlet?

Regards

I think the rule below (which is a best practice rule and is often used for customers using pay scale level) does confirm your notion that recurring components are indeed created:

Thanks for the confirmation jasper.de.groot

The guide mentions that

but, i have created some rules with base object comp info, and recurring payments, that are THEN=SET

and some only work when i use the pencil button but not the history (clock button of the portlet), on the other hand some others work using the EDIT history button, and i do not find documentation about it, the funny thing is that the the non-working rules also appear as successful in the rule log trace.

Is there any documentation about this? I think it will be better than just constant trial and error but i don´t find anything related in the guides.
