​Rule to not apply for more sickness days

Hi experts,

I have a requirement to set up a rule so an employee on sickleave for 16 days or more, will need to wait 16 days before registering another sick leave. However the current rule does not work. Any idea what I have done incorrectly here?

Did you run a rule trace on it? That should normally give you a more detailed answer than we can. By the looks of it, I'd say it is just looking at how much leave was taken already, but is not taking into account how much you are taking in your current request. I for instance had a customer that wanted to check if more than 14 days were taken in the request and wanted me to launch an error when done so:

I think you may require something a bit more sophisticated, but the rule trace will already tell you a lot more of where the gap should be.

I'm not able to figure out the rule trace part, sometimes info appears in the rule trace and sometimes not. Although the rule is triggered in the system, it's not appearing in the log..
