Customer Expectation- Customer expects that each goal approver or rater should be at job grade 14 or above, or at a higher grade than the employee's. For example, if an employee is at job grade 11, their manager is at grade 12, and the manager’s manager is at grade 14, then the manager’s manager should be the approver and rater for that employee. For example, if an employee is at job grade 13, their manager is at grade 14 then the manager should be the approver and rater for that employee. The system should automatically identify the appropriate person based on job grade and route the form directly to them, bypassing other steps.
Proposed Solution- The PMGM route map supports standard roles such as employee, manager, manager’s manager, EM+, matrix manager, HRBP, and user. The PM route map does not assign roles based on job grades; instead, roles are assigned from employee mappings, regardless of job grade. For goal approvals and ratings, however, the approver should have a Job Grade of 14 or higher, ensuring their grade is above the employee's. We can assign this approver through the job relationship by designating them as the “Matrix Manager.” This setup directs the form only to the appropriate person for approvals, streamlining the workflow and eliminating unnecessary steps.
