Rounding of years in gratuity.

Hi gurus,

I have an issue over gratuity that it should satisfy two conditions

1. calculation: 15/26*basic pay* no of years.

2.Eligibility: emp should complete minimum 6 months and eligibility years is 4.8

3. if an employee complete 5.8 years, it should be consider as 6 years and 5.4 as 5 years.

kindly help me, in this scenario.

i have written a custom pcr for gratuity but it calculating years but failed to calculating months and days, kindly help me on this issue.

Kindly go through following pcr and let me know any changes required over this pcr.

Hi Siva,

This requirement can be achieved by standard Gratuity process, a little change is needed in a custom rule and configuration. You may possibly need to create one or two new custom payroll constants for this. (Standard constants are - GRTYR for eligibility of an employee, GREYR for eligible years to receive gratuity).. please check and see if it works with the standard process.
