Hi Community!

I have a problem with the Roles and Permissions in EC. We have a customer field that can identify people with our contract type, and we need through the Roles&Permissions to limit the displays of these people in the Org Chart, Position Org Chart, Company Structure Overview, Directory and Resources (all sectionsa in Org Chart).

Could you please help me?

Hi Carolina,

What is your problem? Depending on where your custom field is, you can hide it and make it available/ visible only for a few people - if this is what you ask for. You might also masked this field wrt GDPR and data security.

For your issue with the org chart, unfortunately, I just know that you can exclude CWM (contingent worker). The rest is not possible to take out. If you would want it, you should create an enhancement request, most probably.

Or have you meant this field? There you do have a couple of options.

To get a more profound answer, it would make sense to make your problem more concrete 😉
