« Roles Field » allowing to segment the visibility of a content throw a S4 role in Web Assistant ?

Using The Roles Field in SEN

We are trying to segment the visibility of "simulation projects" by S4 / HANA role in the view of the learningAppWorkspace in the web assistant.

LearningAppWorkspace and NOT Learning Center.

The aim of this is to push content depending on the page where you are and alos depending on the roles' right of the user. When we talk about role here, we talk about the Roles in the S4/HANA Database.

The Context Field allowing to have- the different pages where the content will be available for user. Great !

We are trying to segment the visibility of "simulation projects" by S4 / HANA role, but It’s not working.

Is this « Roles Field » is allowing us to do segmentation as it is with "Context" field, or is it just a link with SEN Roles ?

The roles in S4 have been configured for Spaces.

So we have created a separate Fiori Catalog for each role/space assign to the users.

You are answering "The catalog would need to point to a separate Workarea that contains only the content you want them to see (access is really at the Workarea level in SEN)."

The objective is to be able to push content in learning Workspace by role :

In the example below the learningAppWorkspace is link to our Extended Workarea wich the ID is WA_STD_SAP

If my understanding of your answer is right.

It possible to create other parameters like learningAppWorkspace2 to link to another Workarea in SEN ?

And if it's the case, how is it possible to link the learningAppWorkspace to a catalog, and also the learningAppWorkspace2 to another catalog ?

Because even if all access is link to the Workarea in SEN with SEN's Roles, it means :

First that it's possible to have different learningAppWorkspace parameters in Web Assistant configuration

And Second that all the users who will connect in SSO, will be automaticly created in SEN Database, but a manual management is necessary for each user in order to drop them in the right roles and autorizations.
