Rewards and Recognition - Custom Email via document generation

We would like to configure a custom workflow that triggers based on which Reward plan is initiated (one of which being a company wide thank you program), and then use document generation template to notify a manager of a recipient that their direct report has received a recognition. Would this be possible today via RnR workflow type?

Hello Bo,

I am not sure if it the same scenario, but in my case I have created two different workflows, specific for each program, one of which being a company wide thank you program (https://me.sap.com/notes/0002277529), and then using the business rules I have indicated which workflow to be trigered for which program, and added these rules to the Spot Award object definition in Configure Object Definitions.

Then, for the email notification, I have created different email notificcations templates for each program via document generation (https://me.sap.com/notes/2912872) and then linked I linked them to each RnR program in the RnR program's settings. However, the notifications are being sent to the recipient of the award and the recipient's manager.
