Restrict option to cascade goals to certain group of employees

Dear community,

we have parts of the population not being "eligible" to use the goals module. We limit this access with a field in the employment details (job info), steered by an off cycle event batch/business rule.

We recognized now, that cascading goals to these employees is still possible for managers.

How can this be restricted?

We would also be interested in such an option. I assume the cascading is not respecting the Target population set via RBP. Could this be changed?

Hi @SpireaMihai, yes, indeed, RBPs are not respected here. I found this KBA: https://me.sap.com/notes/3042997/E in which they say: "(...) due to performance considerations, the goal plan access permission in RBP do not influence the ability to cascade goals in the Latest Goal management. For example, if a Manager does not have access to one of his direct report's goal plan, this manager can still cascade the goal to this direct report."
