Restrict editing on specific goals within the goal plan

Our organization has several required goals that I, as the administrator, will cascade down to specific levels of management. We would like to lock these specific goals so the individuals or their managers may not edit or delete them once the Goal Plan is launched. Is there a way to set permissions by goal instead of by plan?

TIA

Yes but this is the only way, and you can do the calculation for the weights, for example: if normally now they have 1 goal section for all goals and this section weight is 50% for the total PM form, now we will split them to 2 sections, the best way in this case to split the percentage same way; means you will assign in summary section each goal section weight as 25% of the PM form, and if total weight for example is 60 so make it 30 and 30, and so on..., then each goal weight will be taken into consideration when the PM form calculate the overall score, and by that you will get the same calculation if they were in one goal section.

Hello @sphillips85

There is no permission per goal inside the same goal plan, but the best solution for this requirement is to have 2 goal plans in the same year, one for the cascaded goals with no permission to edit for them, and one for individual goals, then after that in the PM form you should have 2 goals section, and each section of them will be linked to the related goal plan, so by this you will be able to control editing some goals, and in the same time they will have 1 PM form including all goals.

Please if this meet your requirements; mark the case as Solved.

By doing this, each goal section will have to have a defined % weighting as it pertains to the overall score, which could be different for non-manager roles.

Is this a correct assumption?
