Hi,
I have several questions regarding the steps related to the re-recording of processes and their automatic translation in SAP Enable Now.
Let's assume that I have recorded a process and its UI in English.
I need now to record a Spanish version of the same process with an UI in Spanish too.
In this process, I have customized certain interactions, for example, specific clicks, by adding additional comments.
The "Translate Manually" flag is therefore activated for certain interactions.
First question:
What will happen if I re-record my process in another target language (e.g. Spanish)? Specifically, will my customized interactions (e.g. a click with a customized text) be replaced by the standard texts of the interactions (related to the dictionaries) for the target language?
Now let's assume that I also add explanation bubbles to the process I recorded in English to enrich it.
These explanation bubbles will not be translated during the re-recording phases to the target language.
Therefore, after re-recording, I will get a simulation mixing two languages: the re-recorded interactions in the target language (e.g. Spanish), and my explanation bubbles that remained in the original language, here English.
Second question:
Is it possible to translate only these explanation bubbles with the Machine Translation without re-translating the interactions?
More specifically, is it possible to specify to Machine Translation not to re-translate the standard interactions that have already been translated into the target language through re-recording (or to translate only the "Translate Manually" flags) ?
Last question:
Are the steps of my translation process correct:
If not, what steps should be taken?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hi Emmanuel,
The answer to your first questions is yes, following the re-recording of a Simulation some of your text may be in the new language, e.g. Spanish, and some still in the original language. You are also correct when you indicate that modifications to the standard recorded action texts or the entry of text into an Explanation means that the corresponding text is not updated during the re-recording process. Remember, you can use the Machine Language Translation capability in Enable Now to finish of the translations that are still in the original language but it will be a two-step process.
The answer to your question is yes. When you submit an object for translation using the machine translation functionality you see the following screen.
On this screen, make sure that the Include Generated Project Texts field is turn off, as shown in the image above.
The answer to your last question is yes. You can run it the other way around if you like, i.e. do the machine translation first, but ultimately, it is a two step process.
Regards
Shane
