Hello Compensation experts! Our client has decided for different reasons (tax purposes etc.) to sign different contracts with employees that may be moving along different countries. For some cases, a user might have even up to 4 contracts (the main one with Greece and three more with England, Ghana & Cyprus). Ηaving so many different contracts, they need a proper way of recording all this info in the system so they can report on it. In the beginning they just wanted to record the different salaries, therefore we decided to create multiple pay components with distinctive names so they know from the code for which country is the contract for. Now they have extended their request and they want to be able to report on the following information: country, employment class, employment type, legal entity, amount, currency, individual/non individual etc. for EVERY contract that a user might have. Global assignment and concurrent employment features cannot serve this purpose. Therefore we would like to ask if any of you has faced any similar request in the past and how you decided to move forward. Maybe custom fields in the pay component recurring section? Or a custom portlet to maintain all this info? But we need to take into consideration the compensation module that will start to be developed in the following months.
Request clarification before answering.
So after a review with my colleagues they all agree that the answer to this is with the Concurrent Employment feature of EC.
All the best
