Reporting - possibility to see current info and previous info in one report

Hi experts,

I am reaching out to address a specific need we have regarding one of our reports.

We would like to incorporate data from e.g one month ago (historical data) for the purpose of comparing it with the current information captured in the report (today's date).

An example could be to compare the data for the Cost Center on May 1st with the data on June 1st, if any changes have taken place. Other fields are also required for this purpose.


As I have understood this is not possible to fit into a single report. I highly appreciate any suggestions or techniques you might have to help us complete this request.

Hi Ines Trudvang Preuss,

We have different ways to achieve this scenario. It depends on the way you want to see the report.

Approach 1: Try Advanced Reporting Canvas. Select all the required fields from a portlet table (example: Job Information) and in "Date Options" select 'Show All' option. This will now show all historical records for the users.
