Hi Experts,
Hope you are doing good.
I would like to get help related to a requirement in time tracking clock in clock out.
We have clock in clock out configured in Success Factors system and it is working fine for pairing and unpairing.
My client have requested for clock in clock out report to run for all employees, I checked the standard reports to find any but couldn't able to find any. I have provided the access to Manage clock in clock out page so that they can check the unpaired records as per their needs.
But the problem in it is, if the employee doesn't clock in and clock out for a day it will not appear in the Manage clock in clock out. HR administrators are finding it difficult to find the employees manually if the planned working time doesn't have recorded working time or absence raised against it.
We have checked the SF_TIM_Employee_Timesheet_V1.0 which shows planned working time and recorded working time for the week but it is not based on days to exactly find which day the employee doesn't have attendance records missing and it is time consuming process to check each and every employees if the weekly planned working time doesn't match with recorded working time to find the exact date of missing clock in and clock out for a day and the above mentioned scenario also has entries which has shortage in recorded working day and not just clock in clock out missing days.
Is there anyway to extract a report to find the dates where the employees has planned working time but no recorded working time or absences is raised against the day?
Your answers will be very helpful.
volker.ruof : Can you please help on this?

Request clarification before answering.
giriesh_chakaravarthy : attend the H1 rollout sessions ;-). Your demanded report was already demoed internally, so if all goes good you will get this report in H1. Lots of filter capabilities in it, like for unpaired events and many more.
Best regards
Volker

Hi Piotr,
Thank you for sharing the document.
The requirement is bit different from alert, because the details are required by HR admins and instead of triggering the alert to HR admins for each employee since it is tough for them to manage, they need it as a report to show the employees list missing with punch in and out with dates.

Hi volker.ruof ,
Thank you for the response and sharing the information to us. I have raised the query with SAP Support team and they mentioned that it can be done via Time Collector as a work around. But I am afraid whether it is possible to get the exact dates of clock in clock out missing using Time collector. If yes, can you throw some idea on it please.

Hi,
Time Collector will do the job to alert employee/user on data entry (for example if certain threshold was crossed) + send it to Admin Alerts where you can trace + see in which exact date/week time collector/alert was raised but I think you are looking for solution to inform/alert employee about missing Time Event (punch in/out), correct?
I have same request from client - if employee doesn't clock out on specific day they would like system to send email alert to that user next day = each missing punch should be sent as alert to employee. I think time collector won't do the job here but there is one option ... more complicated with custom mdf and Integration Centre - example of logic in blog here:

giriesh.mamurugan hmm, with collectors - I have my doubts. Collectors only count, as you are mentioning they donΒ΄t have the exact clock times of the time events.
The best thing is the upcoming clock in / out report. This is really a good thing, you can apply lots of filters to meet lots of different business requirements.
