Replication from MDF to Backgound

I am trying to replicate MDF to Background by referring to this blog. In this blog, it is suggested to use a canvas report to extract MDF data, but when this report is created, a timestamp and a blank line are always output at the top of the file. As a result, I cannot import the file created by the canvas report directly via provisioning. Is there any workaround for this?

I have the same scenario, but using the Integration Centre to achieve this.

Hi takuebi,

I also faced this challenge while scheduling the report.

Please follow the steps 3 (i) & (ii) carefully from the blog. You need to go to “Edit Formatting” and “Export Report”. Then while adding report in Bundle, Select report from “Advanced Reporting” tab not from Query Workspace.

This will remove time stamp from the file.
