Hi All,
I am looking for some help how to release candidate's profile manually. We are entering data in our E-rec system manually without any external portal link, we are doing it with recruiter role. Where it allows to create candidate manually. But these manually created candidates do not appear anywhere in system (except free search) since they are not in "Release" status.
When I go in table HRP5102 and change status as release then these manually created applicants are available in system, so I was wondering if there is any way I could can release profiles manually.
I searched the forum and found a solution on the link http://scn.sap.com/thread/3148665 by creating an activity through IMG and then change the profile status to release but this I can only do when an employee appears in system. The manually created applicant is only available in free search and from free search I can not perform any activity.
Thanks and regards.

Hi Hasnat,
You need to modify the STATUSCHANGED workflow (WS51900010) so that it sets the status to released in HRP5102 in case of a manually entered application.

HI Nicole,
Thank you for your reply. Is there any standard solution available for this without modifying the workflow as you suggested above?
We are not using any workflow in our e-recruitment implementation, In our environment recruiter is only responsible to enter and release the profile manually.(without workflow)
Further my 2nd query is, when I go and edit the requisition to assign the process template to it, nothing happens, as per standard sap response a new window should open and I should be able to assign the template but its not happening.
The requisition has been created and released by same recruiter and again there is no workflow in between, The requisition has status as released
Am I missing anything here.

Hasnat.
Hi, Nocole,
Thank you for the confirmation. Just one more thing to confirm do we have to have ADS (Adobe Document Services) in our system? Because we do not have this service in our system. So is this mandatory to implement E-recruitment?
Like I told you in my previous mail, I do not find any error in SLG1 or ST22.
The requisition I am selecting has been created and released by the same recruiter, is there anything as assignment in between or this status "Released" is enough to proceed for recruiter to continue his job on the request?
Regards.
Hasnat.
Hi Hasnat,
If you use Adobe Forms (RECFA DATAO set to X) you will need ADS installed. When using SMARTFORMS you don't need it.
Yes, that should already be enough.
When popups are not opening or are displayed empty, it is always a good approach to check that with an HTTPWatch trace and make sure that you have the latest unified rendering notes (BC-WD-ABA) in your system.

Nicole
Nicole,
Finally we are back on track. We try to implement the latest BC-WD-ABA, and things went wrong. While installing the latest one something went wrong and our system hanged.
SAP was called to fix and after long work we are back on track.
I have new question here, can you please confirm if we need to use smart forms, what switch(s) we need to activate, at the moment when I logged in as manager and need to raised a requisition request, the processes window appears but without any process in it.
What do we need to configure here for the smart forms to be appear here?
Note: We have not activated the Business functions HCM_ASR_CI_1, HCM_ASR_CI_2 and HCM_ASR_CI_3. Do we need to activate them or these are only required if we use HR Processes and forms?
Regards
Hasnat.
Hi Hasnat,
That's an Adobe forms topic. Please create a new discussion in the SAP ERP HCM space (http://scn.sap.com/community/erp/hcm).
Best regards,
Nicole
