Relationship between Cost center and department

Hi all,

I would like to know the relationship between cost center and depart in SAP HR and can one employee have multiple departments with one cost center?

Can any one explain the hierarchy of the relation.

Yes this is possible, you can define your own hierarchy and assign the cost center

there are best practices for these foundation objects in EC
