Regarding integration between e-rec and succession planning

Hi Seniors,

I have a little doubt regarding the link between e-recruitment & succession planning. Please give your input for same.

As per the BBPs, "the HR system MUST maintain  competency library and link with recruitment sub system. The standard qualifications catalogue will be used to store the competencies.  The e-Recruitment system will use this catalog to check an applicant’s current qualifications against the job / position's requirements."

I have already configured the qualification catalog, so what else I need to do to maintain the integration in between e-recruitment and succession planning.

Please suggest.

There is no integration between e-Recruiting and succession planning. The competency catalog must be stored in your SAP HCM system to be used there. As for e-Recruiting, I will move this thread to the e-Recruiting space and hopefully someone can answer you for the integration between e-recruiting and SAP HCM for competencies.

Hi Luke,

I want to ask basically in respect of career and succession planning.. by mistake I have just mentioned succession planning.

Once I recruit some one, I need to forecast his/her career simultaneously... so by which tool both the things are integrated ??

Hi Ritu,

Once someone has been hired then you would manage them in the Portal using the Talent Profile, but I think your client doesn't have it?

Hi Ritua,

As Luke mentioned, Succession Planning is no longer part of E-Recruiting but you have the own application "Talent Management" for that.

The latest business package for that would be "Talent Management Specialist".

Dear Karthi,

My client had a  various set of qualifications as per their job requirement. Therefore , I just configured the qualifications with relevant proficiency scales and rest has been connected via Q catalog.
