What is the different between applicant action and overall status of applicant?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Shahid,
Applicant action is something like same as an Employee action what we take on an employee through PA40. In Recruitment we do it through PB40. We can create different action types to be taken on an applicant same as we do in Actions node in Personnel administration.
And overall status of an applicant means that what status the applicant is held with once he is into the recruitment process. In standard SAP we have few status like
1 In process
2 To be hired
3 On hold
4 Rejected
5 Contract offered
6 Offer rejected
7 Invite
Based on the status we maintain for an applicant we can move forward in the process of recruitment.
Thanks,
Akula
