A question to all,
Why is it that 'Offers' is disconnected from the candidate? Even when the offer approval has been accepted by the hiring manager, there is nothing on the candidate profile that indicates this has been approved.
Secondly, when you go into the 'offers' sections and click the candidate, why aren't I able to navigate back directly into the req on to the candidate to progress the candidate?
Kind regards,
David

Hi David -
I agree - there is a disconnect between Offer and Candidate profile / Application information. Overall, there seems to be a lack of functionality in how we can confgure/control the Offer process and permissions.
I have found that it is possible to set up a rule to automatically update the application status to Offer Approved when Job Application Template.Offer Approval.Offer Status = Completed but that is really the only way to reflect the Approval on the application view.
I recently had a requirement from a client that Offer Approvers be able to review candidate profile / application data but many times the offer approvers were not actually operators on the job requisition so they actually did not have any visibility to the anything other than the Offer Approval form - they could not see the Candidate Profile and Application data. I had assumed the Offer Approvers would have the same [V] permissions as the Ad Hoc Approvers in the Job Requisition but that is not the case - they actually have no permissions other than to view the Offer Approval form.
This is "working as designed" per SAP support and would be an enhancement idea to modify the product. I have encouraged my client to submit an idea to the Influence portal.
