Recording Audio in a Simulation with Demo Text Bubbles

Hello SAP Community:

I am using the recording audio feature in SAP Enable Now in a simulation. In my simulation, I have three (3) mouse actions or three (3) demo text bubbles in one step or slide. The audio plays ahead of the mouse actions and mentions the context in all three Demo Text bubbles at the same time. Is there a setting in SAP Enable Now that will allow me to time the audio recording for each of the Demo Text bubbles? Thank you.

Benjamin

When using audio/TTS, don’t use Merge screen functionality or more than one mouse actions/explanation in a single slide. In other words, have 3 individual slides for 3 bubbles.

The only reason is your audio acts on the page level but not on macro level.

Hi Benjamin,

A workaround suggestion would also be to make three different steps for this one Step, that way the audio will read each of the three bubbles individually and in the right order.

Let me know if this works!

Thank you for your comment Robert. How would I create a timed audio to play when the bubble appears? I am fairly new at this and would appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

Hi Benjamin,

First of all make sure that the Simulation is an 'Audio Project'. Then, you can either record the audio yourself or have text-to-speech read the text that you enter.

Here is a LINK to the Producer manual, the audio section for Simulations starts on page 57.

The original question was about the audio playing at the same time for all three bubbles.

1. Copy and paste the original Step in the Simulation so that you have 3 identical steps next to each other

2. Delete the extra bubbles in each step so that you end up with one bubble for each of the 3 steps in the right order.

3. When played, the Simulation will read a bubble and then go to the next step (and this is the workaround: one bubble per Step instead of 3 bubbles in one Step)

4. You can add timing so that there is more time per slide

Good luck!
