Reassigning Same Curricula within Expiry Period to Users

I hope this post finds you well. I am seeking guidance on reassigning the same curricula to users within the expiry period.

Scenario:

We have assigned a curricula to a group of users, and now we need to reassign the same curricula to the same users within the expiry period. The curricula has not changed, but we need to update the assignment to reflect the current dates.

Question:

Is it possible to reassign the same curricula to the same users within the expiry period without creating a new assignment or version of the curricula? If so, what are the steps to follow?
