While exploring SAP Learning Hub, I noticed a powerful yet simple UX feature — real-time tracking of progress. It shows learners how many topics they’ve completed, how many are left, and even displays a clean progress bar. This got me thinking…
As consultants, partners, and administrators, we often work across modules like:
Compensation
Performance and Goals (PMGM)
Employee Central (EC)
Onboarding, and more…
But there’s no built-in progress tracker to visually reflect how much of the configuration or project setup is completed during implementation or maintenance. Imagine if we could see a simple status like:
6 of 10 key configuration items completed
Progress: 60%
Pending: Eligibility rules, Route Map, EC Integrationif this could be done then it will reduce multiple clicks and improve SAP ecosystem
Benefits of a Real-Time Configuration Progress Tracker in SAP SuccessFactors
Benefit Area Description
Visibility & Transparency Clearly shows what’s configured vs. pending. No more scattered status updates. Implementation Efficiency Keeps consultants, admins, and PMs aligned. Faster go-lives, fewer blockers. Customer Confidence Clients can monitor progress visually in real time. Builds trust and clarity. Agile Enablement Supports iterative delivery, sprint-based rollouts, and milestone tracking. Error Reduction Standardized checklists prevent missing key setup steps. Post-Go-Live Use Useful for ongoing maintenance, updates, and change requests. Team Collaboration All module owners see the same live status. Improves cross-functional flow. Gamification Add motivation through visual progress bars and milestone badges. UX Alignment Matches SAP Learning Hub’s intuitive learner UX. User-first for admins too.
Suggest me your ideas as well, i am new to the role and exploring SAP successfactor.

Hi @Saurabh_085
The only issue with this idea is that you can create an eligibility rule tied to a template that is just a shell with nothing in it. In that case UX would probably think that the entire eligibility rule topic is completed because I don't think (unless AI is involved) it could assess content of workbook requirements vs what is actually built in the rule.
So it's something that won't work for quality project status update calls but maybe great idea for a new AI feature.
All the best,
Xavier
