RCm - Approved Date of Job Requisition not Available or OData

Hello, 

My client cannot find the Job Requisition Approval Date field using OData API, whereas he can in Adhoc/Table Reporting or Stories report. 

I've found the following KBA: 2957351 - Approved Date of Job Requisition not Available in Integration Center or OData - Recruiting...

As this KBA is effectve dated in 2020, is it still true that the approved date is not an exposed field through API?

is the solution suggested on the KBA to add a custom field on the job requisition and to calculate it via a business rule still the best solution?

Has someone else experimented this request and has good practice to share to answer this request?
