We recently implemented a currency conversion project and it involved copying of the old client and begin transacting in a new client. For my module we copied data tables from the old system as the copying of clients only took configurations only. The client was using Personnel Admin and Time Management only.PA worked out perfectly
However with Time Management we copied the Absences tables ,including table PTQUODED that keeps Time Quota Overview. The old client had a Earliest Retroactive Accounting Date of 31.05.2016 which was also carried to the new client. Quota Balances were also carried into the new client perfectly.
The problem arose when the user ran their Time Evaluation as they usually do at the end of every month resulting in the leave balances of the quota that automatically accrue being wrong. Some balances went as far as ending up in the negative.
I tried correcting the balances using the Time Quota Correction infotype but each time ,time evaluation was ran the balances got distorted again. I also tried running the repots RPTKOK00 and RPTBPC10 to no avail .Actually it has also resulted in some employees accrual entitlement history being erased and starting in January of 2023 instead of May 2016.
Please kindly assist did i miss something on the copying of tables or something.
