Hello everyone (Experts),
I'm currently in the middle of a project to implement SuccessFactors Learning, and I've come across something that I'm having trouble understanding.
In Employee Central, when I go to Manage Proxy for a user, I see there's an option to enable "Learning". If I check this box and save, does it mean the person I've granted proxy rights to will be able to access the Learning page on behalf of the user?
I'm asking this because I also noticed that within LMS, there’s a separate option to proxy as a user directly from the Learning platform. So my question is:
Do both proxy options function in the same way, or are there key differences between them?
Taking advantage of this question, when I delegate my tasks to someone else in Employee Central (for example, during my vacation), will that person also be able to access my training in the Learning module?
Thanks in advance for your help!

As long as your implementation included the proper prevent proxy configuration on the Learning Assertion Consumer Service URL (KBA https://me.sap.com/notes/3547156), then the Platform settings for Proxy Policy for Learning only allows as mentioned in https://me.sap.com/notes/3113104

Hi,
The "official" info says that you can not proxy from BizX onto LMS. The My Learning tile is actually hidden when you are in proxy (even if you check "Learning" in the Proxy Management page. You should proxy from within the LMS admin to access the My Learning sections.
The LMS proxy prevents from launching courses or exams in place of the learner. You can navigate and register, that's pretty much it.
You can however trick the BizX proxy, by creating a direct link in the LMS, add as BizX short cuts, and launch that shortcut while proxying. With this approach, you can do anything on behalf of the account holder. Note that the audit trails will not spot you are proxying, so just keep that in mind.
Hope this clarifies the magical mysteries of proxy.
Cheers,
Kris.
