we have a question.
We are developing the ATS module in SF. Our SuccessFactors data center is based in EU.
We have a question about the adoption in China, and its compliance according to the PIPL , considering that the ATS involves senstive personal data (such as National ID, Financial information etc) and that the regulations for handling such data are stricter than those for customer data
Do yo experiences of similiar scenarios - I mean of ATS adopted in china and with a data center based in eu?

Request clarification before answering.
We had similar situation at our end and were advised internally and externally (including SAP) not to use global instance (hosted outside of China) of recruitment module for China. in other words, it is recommended that customers use SAP data center in China if they want to SF recruitment module for China. For now we process recruitment related activities outside of SF for China and hire employees directly in EC. Next year we will look at the option of using SAP data center in China for recruitment activities and integrating this with our global instance in EU for non recruitment related activities.
