Question about email send out when copying class

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding email received after copying class. When I am copying a class there is a checkbox "Send Enrollment Email Notification to Instructor" where I can select. After I selected this checkbox, I received an enrollment notification as instructor, without the roll-up message (no loop section message, no list of registered users). Does anyone know if this is a system expected behaviors?

Hi Lik,

that the checkbox is marked is very stupid. If you copy a class all agenda sequences, instructors and classrooms will be copied into the new class an if the checkbox is marked the instructor will receive all information from the old class for the new class. It is better you deactivate the checkbox before you copy the class. Then modify everything in the new class. When you have finished, send the instructor a mail using actions in the class.

I agree that checkbox is confusing. and It also sent out email notification which is not making sense. I am just wondering why the systemenrollment notification will be sent out like this....or if it is a system expected behaviors....
