Purpose of "authorized to teach"

Hello Team,

Please what's the purpose of "authorized to teach" if we can assign an instructor to a class which is not in the list of classes he is authorized to teach?

Adding on this, when you open the Instructors tab for an item, you can assign Authorized Instructors. You’ll also see the option “Check Instructor Authorization.” If this option is selected, then when you schedule a class for that item, only the authorized instructors will be available for selection. This ensures that only approved instructors can teach that class.
