Hi Experts,
According to your knowledge and experience, do you know if it's possible to purge users who only exist on the LMS side? Is there a tool or a workaround?
Many thanks in advance,
Kind Regards,
Sofia

@CR - I'm not the one who originally posted, but I have a follow up question.

We have a process that creates users directly in our LMS from our ATS (not SF) when an applicant has an offer extended to them. We do this so that our training team can start building their training schedule, sometimes working on the schedule several months before their start date. This record has minimal information - just the applicant ID and name.

Once the candidate is hired, the ATS sends a record to our HR SOR, which will send the full user profile to our BizX system, and then onward to the LMS, where we merge the "minimal" applicant ID record with the full record.

We appear to have a gap, where if a user doesn't accept the offer, the applicant ID record (which was created directly in the LMS) never gets merged (because there's nothing to merge with), and never gets deleted. Over the years, we've accumulated probably thousands of these records. Is there a way to configure the Native User APMs to only look at users with certain characters in their User IDs?

Hi @EricAbrams, I doubt it, as there no option in those jobs to select users based on anything else but country & termination or inactivity (Native User Deletion APM). So you do need to work out a time frame, where you can safely delete at least some of those users.

Thanks @CR - I think I can set the users to Inactive (right now, they're all active, which is part of the problem), and then use the Native User Delete APM to get them. They all come in with the Source System = Learning, so I can get a list and inactivate that way.
