Publish back compensation information to EC

Hi all,

I was looking for an option to publish back data to compensation information. I can find some information that say: We can now publish to Compensation Information fields that aren’t specific to recurring or non-recurring pay components. But other Documentation is saying you can only publish back Recurring Pay Components, Non Recurring Pay Components and Job Information fields.

Is there an option to publish back data within the comp information?

Yes xml only. You can contact support though and request they make the xml change for you if you know the specific component. Please ensure you provide enough lead time for this to be completed.

Yes this is possible. It must be configured in the xml. Please see the details in the Compensation EC integration Admin Guide.

Hi Christian, as you helped me out with this question. Can I ask you something else regarding this topic. Do you know if you can change the publish back date for the Compensation information as a Compensation Administrator. Because at this moment the publish back for the Compensation Information doesn't show in the Employee Publish Back settings of the Compensation Plan. Now we only have this visible within the XML File of the template, so we can only change it there. This means that the partner needs to change the publish date every year.

As an addition, I now see this in the documentation: So I think unfortunately there is no option yet...

Yes @annehuvenaars it is possible to publish to EC from Comp module. Please check the answer from @CSmith
