Project gets saved under unsorted in Manager

When one of the standard authors saves a project, it gets saved under unsorted folder in Manager.  This is not the case with any of the other standard authors.  This has happened before and checking of the publish option had resolved the issue and the project was saved in the correct folder under root group. However, doing that has not fixed the issue this time. Please advise.

Hi Sanchia,

When an author creates a new content object in Producer, e.g. a Simulation, they typically obtain editing control of the new object, but also the parent folder (Group) object of the new object.  The author must give back editing control of the parent folder object, not just the new content object that they create.  Manager must be able to get editing control of the parent folder object to write the relationship between the folder and the new content object or the new content object will appear in the Unsorted folder in Manager.  So, as a rule, all authors should give up editing control - Finish Editing - of all content and folder objects when they are not editing them.  This will ensure that the content is displayed in the correct part of the content structure in Manager.
