Hello,

we are using SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE and have 2111HF1 (10.5.9) Sap Enable Now.

How to know or where to find which Product Version should be used in Producer/Manager for web assistant content.

Can I put 2111 or it should be 2111.000.

What is the purpose of indicating Product Version in Producer/ Manager cotextual help.

Thank you

Thank you so much for your answer.

And my last question on this topic would be, where to find what is currently available latest product version, which is possible to use after the upgrade. e.g 1909.000, 2202.503, 2020.latest.

In the Enable Now wiki I found YYMM.SSS format - year/month and a sub-release should be used, but for example sub-release is changing according update was made - so where to find this info?

Ask your IT people (specifically the group supporting S/4). They will know what version they have installed, vs what the latest version available is (they will receive release notifications). They are also the people responsible for entering this information into the Fiori Catalog for SAP Enable Now (which is then what appears as the 'Requested' values in SAP Companion / Web Assistant).

Hi regina_j

This is what you have in the Web Assistant configuration done in your S/4HANA system.

Depending on how the Web Assistant configuration was done you can either change it:

  1. In the dedicated Web Assistant Fiori Catalogue (transaction /n/UI2/FLPD_CUST)
  2. Or in the Fiori Launchpad Configuration (transaction /n/UI2/FLP_CUS_CONF)

Kind Regards, Anton

Well, our SEN is updated, but I still see the old Product version. Is this smth, that must be changed in the GUI or backend app or is this Product Version that was captured automatically after the system update and should be used in the content?

It looks like someone updated the Web Assistant context and ADDED the new version (maybe in preparation for the upgrade). It looks like your system has now been upgraded, so you can probbaly go back to Producer and remove the 1909.000 version from the content.

From the Web Assistant, go into Edit Mode, click on the Options (gear) button and select Show Context Information. The Product and Product Version in the Requested column are the safest thing to use. (Version may have /latest - that indicates it will take the latest HF number; so if 'Available' is 2202.503, this will still display OK if the Requested is 2202.latest).

This will be captured automatically when creating help content, but will need to be updated if the application is updated. It will also be captured automatically for simulations. The only time you should need to 'manually' enter it is when you want to provide other content (usually books / book pages) as context-sensitive help, in which case you should really use the Record Context > Record Web Assistant Context button.

The purpose is context sensitivity (along with the Screen ID).
