Hello everyone
during some recordings in SAP GUI I recognized that Producer can not capture F4 Help Buttons.
Instead of capturing the objects it says "the field is cleared out". Maybe its a common issue. Beside of this, everything else is working as it should and Producer recognize everything.
Skripting is activated server sided and on client side. DKPI Scaling is set to 100 %. The Profile/ Theme I used in this example "Blue Crystal".
Thanks for some guidance here. f4-help-buttons-in-sap-gui.pngfield-is-cleared-out.png

Not sure if it is related, but I have a note that says: Under Help > Settings > F4 Help, set Display to Dialog (Modal). It's designed to force the F4 help to display in a modal dialog box, but maybe it has some impact on how the button is defined by SAPGui. May be worth trying.

yes I already made this setting in SAP GUI
Hi Katharina,
all your settings look fine, maybe if this is only happening for this specific field it's a problem with the profile. I think it would be good to open a ticket, attach the project and the profile and ask support to check this.
The component for application profiles is KM-WPB-APR.
Take care,
Kristina

I also tried different Profiles SAP GUI and Standard. Funny is that only with the profile standard it captures the F4 Help windows but in the other profiles it is not recognized by producer. But the problem with the profile standard is that it only captures the object image not the object name. I don´t know if it would be a workaround in cases you want to record those f4 help buttons in SAP GUI that you need to record an additional step and for this step you change the profile to "standard" ...
