Hello,
Is there a possibility to make an elearning made with Enable Now dynamic? Our customer is using blended learning, meaning they are combining classical courses in combination with elearning. For the classical part they are duplicating content made in Enable Now into powerpoint for the reason they are using a pointer to move on with the slides. This means double work while we can easily use created content in Enable Now and save it as the 'practical' part of the course. But when launching/presenting the elearning this is not possible. Is this also provided and if yes, which settings needs to be put in place?
Thx for the feedback.

If you're using a remote pointer like the Logitech Presenter, you'll want to look in its manual to discover which values the presenter keys are. An old one I had several years ago, the Presenter arrow keys corresponded to the Page Up and Page Down keys.
Those aren't the defaults for Enable Now, but you can set Enable Now's playback to use Page Up and Page Down.
To change yours, in Producer select Tools->Settings-> Playback Settings->book reader->Function Keys. You will want to add 'pgup' to the comma separated list for "Back" and 'pgdown' to the comma separated list for "Next". You will need to save the settings up to the server and publish them.

So what are you asking about? eLearning, or ILT presentations? And what do you mean by 'dynamic'
First, SAP Enable Now can be used to build very effective eLearning presentations with interactions, animations, embedded videos, audio, etc.. I do that a LOT. For self-paced learning it is great - unfortunately not a lot of people make use of its many capabilities, and just create page-flippers instead.
Second, if you are exporting Book Pages to PowerPoint just so you can present them in a classroom then you are wasting your time. You can present (page-flippers) directly from SAP Enable Now. And if you set Page Up and Page Down as keyboard shortcuts (Playback Settings > trainer - Global > Function Keys > Back | Next), you can easily use a standard 'clicker' to advance the pages. Even for simulations - I've used Guided Presentation / Free Presentation or even Concurrent mode in the classroom).

Hello Dirk,
Sorry for being unclear... What I ment is that the trainer is now making themselves PPT based on the content made in Enable Now (so double work). I wanted to know whether we can present the SEN elearning by using a pointer. As today, when giving training, the trainer doesn't want to sit behind their screen en scroll through the elearning. So that's the reason why they make a PPT and use a pointer to go through the slides.
I just want to avoid that they create PPT and that they use the elearning for giving the classroom training. But with the pointer it doesn't work.
So I will try your recommendation with back/next. Keep you posted 🙂
Hey Dirk, Thanks for the advise. I successfully changed the settings in SEN so that I can use the next/page with the powerpoint presenter. Is there also a possibility to set this on object level (and not only on page level) so that animation on the page can be showed as well with the presenter?
I need to convince our customer to avoid making powerpoint presentations as they can easily present from the learning made in SEN.
Thx for your feedback. Maggypresenter-powerpoint-presentation.png
Not that I am aware of, no. You could maybe do something with disabling the Page Navigation and using a Counter to introduce the next set of animations, but I'd have to do some testing. I've done some things like that using a 'hidden' trigger (like clicking on the page number, or company logo) but that still requires you to be at the PC, interacting with it.
