I am looking to understand innovative solutions to the issue we have with no flexibility in the requisition process. Once a requisition in created in EC, it is impossible for the Recruiters to change any element of the position to meet the flexibility required by some managers during the whole hiring process up to the offer. How has anyone addressed this need for more flexibility without closing the requisition, adjusting the position details and then re-opening a new requisition with all the inherent admin this entails with candidates, etc. Hoping someone has some useful hints and tips!

Hi Jane,
I created a recruiting business rule that updates requisition fields when the position field is changed.

Our rule only updates the Legal Entity, Division, Location, Department, and Cost Center fields, but you could add additional fields as well.

To update the requisition when/after the position is updated, we simply re-select the position ID in the requisition (the related fields refresh) and save the changes to the req.
To avoid inappropriate changes to a requisition, the access to do this refresh is only granted to system admins.
