Hi All -
Could you kindly share additional information about "Position Follow-Up Processes" and how it work?
I've already checked this link Event-Based (Asynchronous) Position Follow-Up Processes and the related information on it, but I'm still unsure on its behavior/function.
Thank you so much in advance for your help.
Regards,
Ronna

Dear viel,
Before this release change, when you were trying to terminate an employee, at the same time, the system was setting us the "To be hired" flag to "Yes", but in case there was a problem in that position, let's say a mandatory field was empty, the system could not set the "To be hired" flag to "Yes" and you were getting an error in the termination screen to correct first the Position issue and after perform the termination. This was due to the fact that the "Position follow-up job" was running at the same time as the termination action and stopping you to proceed until you really correct the position issue.
Now, with this release change, the job is running asynchronously, so you can save the termination without any error and, after that, an admin alert will be created for you to correct the position issue (if any exist), so it is not stopping you from saving the termination, but allowing you to work on the position follow-up issues separately.
Here I just mentioned the termination scenario, but all other scenarios are described in the guide.
I hope this helps you to understand the change.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Karen Perez

Hi karenperez,
Thank you very much for your response! In our Test instance, I'm attempting to recreate the scenario you mentioned, in which we leave a necessary field of the Position empty and terminate the user who is currently allocated to this position. However, no error is generated on the Admin Alerts. Do you have any idea what the reason is?
Thank you!
