PMGM: Dynamic rating visibility

Dear experts & community, 

in context of our Performance Management implementation, we are facing the following requirement from business side: 

During the performance process both employee and manager are supposed to set their ratings on competencies within the performance form (collaborative route map step). The employee should be able to decide whether their self-rating should be visible to the manager or not during the process. In the step for the 1:1 meeting, it should therefore be possible for the self-rating to remain invisible, unless the employee has decided against it. The best solution would be a button "show rating" that controls the rating visibility in the next step. 

As I know, there is no dynamic control of the rating visibility in standard. Does anyone have an idea for a solution/ workaround?
