Is it SAP's plan to create Stories templates (and make them available via Content Store) that will cover all 40 Advanced Report templates, 28 Basic Report templates and 19 Country-Specific Report Templates? These canvas report templates were often very useful starting points to get basic reports in place for clients quickly.
It does seem that there is some level of overlap already - I'm wondering if a full replacement is the objective?
