Placeholders not working for email notification

Hello.

We have a configuration that sends an email each time a new hire is made. The emails were working just fine friday the 17th. All the placeholders (Name, Employee ID, hire date, position, division, department, location, birth date, email) are configured with Direct Mapping Type.

Since yesterday (Monday 20th) the placeholders on the email are blank for every new hire.

Anything changed with the new release?

Do you know of any way to fix this?

We're facing same issue, now I'm trying to read that KBA but it seems to be removed (https://me.sap.com/notes/3398835) could you please help us with a workaround if any please?

Hello.

Apparently, the release created this issue. It's supossed to be resolved by now. The workaround that was mentioned in the KBA, was to disable the "Enable Centralized Services to Add New Employee, Add New Employee for Fixed Term, and Rehire Inactive Employee" option in "Company System and Logo Settings".

This workaround worked for us.
