Hello Everyone,
We are using T-code PFAL to move HR data from ECC to EREC system. BD64 Data model is configured.
I would like to know if there is any other method to move HR data( Org Unit , Position , Person , Job, Cost center etc., and relations)
from ECC to EREC server.
We move data in sequence like Org unit - Position - Person . Both 1000 and 1001. In Insert mode and HRMD_A.
When we create a new position and move it in this sequence we are not facing any issue. And CP , BP gets created in EREC and everything is fine.
Now when the person moves from that position and a new person occupies that position in ECC. We try to update EREC with this data.
We follow the same steps as we did initially. Only thing is we use Update mode. Now the person is not getting created in EREC system,
in some cases the person gets created but not any relations(008).
Have checked the IDOCs in WE02. It is in Green. And can see the Objects moved. Everything is fine. But no data in HRP1001.
Would like to know if we are using the correct method to update data in EREC. And if so would like to know we have missed something here.
Regards,
Kevin.

Hello Kevin,
tcode PFAL is only the way to go for the Initial data transfer. All updates should be done using Job RBDMIDOC which is creating IDocs based on change pointers. The processing in eRec should be asynchronous using report RBDAPP01. Make sure to define a variant for RBDAPP01 which sets the package size to 1 instead of the default of 5 as parallel processing resulted in the loss of relations between objects for other customers.
Kind regards
Roman

Hi Kevin
Please try to update the data for new employee by selecting Personnel no. in PFAL transaction,I hope it will update the data with updated information and will also create the relationship in E-rec system.
Cheers
Rahul

Hi Kevin,
You can check wiki page Configuration of the distribution model - ERP Human Capital Management - SCN Wiki.
The note referenced there (997181) is the major ALE information note availalbe with all information about how ALE process works in E-Recruiting.
