The term on the Form Template Settings "Review Period" can be deceiving. SuccessFactors uses it in a way that is not the same as many businesses (a period in which the subject is being reviewed for their performance or skillset). Changing this term to one that could be better understood by users, such as "Form End Date," or something similar would be more explanatory and helpful for administrators setting up form parameters as it relates to the form not the review. In addition, allowing the option to turn off the display of these dates in the Performance screens (inbox, enroute, and completed dashboards for example) would be helpful to users who adjust the periods to better suit their form needs per the SF term definition thereby not following business definitions of the same term.
Example: the business reviews performance on a calendar year 1/1 to 12/31, the form runs from 6/1 to 3/30. These dates don't align and therefore our dashboards often throw off the subjects and participants when they think of these as deadlines.
Suggestions:
Add a field to better suit the business definition of the actual review period
Make the term change to indicate the Form Period End Date
Make these fields optional in the displays on the forms and dashboards to prevent user confusion
Request clarification before answering.
Hello @allisonn4
This is simply can be achieved by accessing (form template settings) page , then open the target form, then in the total 3 fields:
Default Start Date
Default End Date
Default Due Date
choose it to be Relative to (form creation date) and then maintain number of days, so the review period will count based on the creation date with specific number of days, so this will make the review period different from employee to another based on the creation date and will not be fixed for everyone

Mostafa

Unfortunately, everyone has the same form creation date and review period, so that won't work for us. We have a completely different group of employees utilizing the form creation date and their form is generated and based off their anniversary date. The group I am trying to solve for is on an annual review period for a calendar year, the forms are generated in June or a mid-year review and the form is live until March so that they participants have time after the close of the year to submit their accomplishments. It makes sense for a lot of companies I would think, but the terms used seems restrictive. We can't remove access to visibility to those dates to employees causing more confusion as the dashboard displays them without option to hide them.
Not relevant to SAP Enable Now - please remove the three "SAP Workforce Performance Builder" tags. Also sounds like it would be better to open a Customer Influence Request if that is available for SuccessFactors. Thanks.
