Hi Team,
As part of SF 1H 2023 upgrade, we started using the New Horizon theme which is "SAP Fiori with Horizon " instead of "SAP Fiori 3 Quartz."
we noticed Background color of Input fields and other drop downs are having grey color to differentiate editable/noneditable fields of Employee profile.
Can u let us know is there any way to change the background color from grey to white in our theme manager settings section.

Radhika.

Hi Radhika,
editable fields with a grey background, and read-only fields with only a dashed underline was a conscious design decision for the Horizon theme family. You can change that with the sapField_Background (and sapField_ReadOnly_Background and a bunch of others) theming parameter in your custom theme. Beware that this might not be enough, as you would end up with white fields on a white background. Most likely you will at least want to give the fields a solid border as well, which you would to by setting sapField_BorderStyle to solid and sapField_BackgroundStyle to none (again: with a bunch of other similar parameters like sapField_Warning_BorderStyle etc). Play around with the theming UI, what you try to achieve is certainly possible.

Hi Dominik,
Thanks for the Reply.
Please let us know how to add generic fields which you mentioned as we can not see option to add in theme manager.
While creating the custom theme in Theme manager, we can not add/modify the CSS and we can edit only available parameters. We are unable to change the background color of editable fields using these parameters.
Do we have UI theme designer in Success Factors?
Is there any impact on other areas if we add these custom fields to theme?
Regards,
Radhika.
