Hi All,

i am having problems while updating the planed activities t completed activities.

Applicant had an interview schedule created on 16.08.2012 now the interview got completed on 17.08.2012.

So with 17.08.2012 when i try to maintain the interview to completed on 17.08.2012 system hows this error:

Completed Activities are always in the past. the date specification in T750j is selected.

Please guide me how can i manage the same with desired dates.

Hi

When you try to change from Planned to complete , the completed activities can be in past only not in future dates.

As you are trying to do the completed action i.e 17.08.2012 , but system date for today is 14.08.2012.

So you can not make to completed this activitiy on today's date ,So you have to wait till 17th system date

This is a standard behaviour and correct as you can not claim that the task for 17th is completed today, logically incorrect if the system allows you to make the date change.

thank for the update really helpful.

But i have a question here that if i have a written test scheduled on 17th but due to change in the candidate availability the test has to be completed on 16th & the next round of interview has to be conducted on the same day.

In that case how this syetm behaviour will work.

Hi

You can always change the planned activities dates and make them complete if you wish to close it for today or you can create new planned activities manually.

But say when the future date is maintained as 15.08.2012 at 12:00 & the action some how gets completed at 19:00 hrs on 14.08.2012 at this point in time why system give the same error message.

Why it is not accepting the data at 17:00 against 12:00 hrs on 15.08.2012

Completed Activities are always in the past- what does this past means how far the sytem accepts the data.

Is there any config in IMG where i can check on maintain the detes if possible.

Hi

There is no configuration for this, this is a straight logic, system is checking the server date and time and restrict you for the future dates.

What ever you are doing here is planned , planning can be anytime, but to make it complete it has to check the logic right.

What exactly i want to know here in while planning the activity it was set on 10:00 am 15.08.2012.

Now as the activity has been completed on 17:00 hrs on 14.08.2012 then also hy system is througing error, i mean now it is on current date, if i keep the hours field as 00:00 system is accepting but when try with 17:00 or 19;00 system throws error.

Hi

First save the planned activtiy from 10.00 AM 15.08.2012 to 14.08.2012 17:00 hrs and then try to move to complete.
